A native of Austin, Kevin Parma attended Texas A & M Univeristy where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Architecture. He views the practice of architecture as artfully combining the optimal ratio of aesthetics and functionality. Duality as both architect and artist is perhaps the strongest influence with aesthetic vision tempered by the ability to execute construction. Inate connections between the idea, drawings an physical constraints are mixed with an ability to improvise as the spatial reality reveals itself. This seamless technique produces works which have become the basis of a personal design mantra - the "built sketch" - or more precisely: Tectonic Graffiti.
